Liberty Stature Fiberglass Pool, 13x23 and 13x37

Liberty describes the Stature as sleek geometry with thoughtful details, from its full-width entry steps to built-in swim-up seating. It is a pool for a modern house or a formal patio, where straight lines matter. The same look comes in a size that fits a townhouse-style yard and a size that gives a serious swimmer 37 ft of water.

Both sizes are tagged auto cover ready and have multiple entry and exit points. The full-width steps give you a wide, easy entry that doubles as seating.

Liberty lists the Stature 13.23 at 13 ft 3 in by 23 ft 8 in, 4 ft 1 in to 5 ft 5 in deep and about 6,800 gallons. The Stature 13.37 is 13 ft 3 in by 37 ft, 4 ft to 6 ft 4 in deep and about 12,700 gallons. The long version nearly doubles the water and adds a deeper end.

Both start at about 4 ft, deeper than the 3 ft 6 in shallow end on many models. That suits adults and older kids, and it gives a better depth for swimming from the first stroke. Younger children will spend more time on the steps and seating. Both are non-diving.

With our 4 ft deck, the 13x23 takes about 21 by 32 ft, and the 13x37 about 21 by 45 ft. The long one is useful on the deep, narrow lots common in older parts of Akron, Canton and Cuyahoga Falls, where a 16 ft wide pool would not clear the side setbacks. Stow's 10 ft side setback on a 60 ft lot leaves room for a 13 ft pool and its deck, with a walkway to spare.

Strongsville is stricter, with 15 ft from every lot line, including equipment. On narrow lots there, the pad placement often decides the layout.

An automatic cover is simple on a rectangle, and on a 37 ft pool it saves a lot of heat on cool nights. We plan the cover box or track with the deck.

Both packages include the Liberty shell and full installation, a Pentair variable-speed pump, a Pentair DE filter, a pool heater, Pentair MicroBrite color-changing LED lights, a 4 ft concrete wrap deck, a cleaning kit, starter chemicals and the electrical hook-up at the equipment, with a 3D design and permits handled by us.

Priced after the site visit: the barrier fence, extra decking, spoils haul-off, dewatering if needed and the run from your panel to the pad. The long Stature needs a longer crane reach on some lots, which we check at the same time.

An automatic cover and heater first. Sheer descents along a long wall suit the modern look, and LED lighting set into the steps reads well at night. On the 13x37, some owners add a spa at the far end so the pool works for swimming and soaking. On the 13x23, the budget often goes to the patio instead, because a compact pool with a generous deck and a fire feature can make a small yard feel complete.
