Where to start
If you are early in the process, three guides cover most of what you need: how much an inground pool costs in Northeast Ohio, fiberglass versus vinyl versus concrete pools, and building a pool in clay soil. After that, the step-by-step building process shows what happens in your yard and in what order.
How the guides are organized
- Cost and pricing
- Choosing a pool type
- Fiberglass pool models
- Design and features
- Site, soil and drainage
- Permits, fencing and rules
- Process and timeline
- Pool decks, patios and outdoor living
- Equipment and water care
- Ohio climate and seasons
- Owning and maintaining
- Financing and buying
- Choosing a pool builder
How we write them
Prices on these pages are our own published package prices. Market figures, weather data and code requirements come from named sources, listed at the end of each guide. Permit and fence rules change, so treat the permit guides as a starting point and confirm with your town's building department. We handle that part when we build your pool.
