Who the Victory suits
Liberty describes the Victory as a freeform that follows no particular structure, with contoured swells and dips for the whole family. In practice it is a compact, friendly pool for young families, couples and anyone with a modest backyard. It has room to swim a few strokes, room to float and a shallow end where kids can stand.
It is also a good choice when the pool is one part of a bigger yard plan. Many owners pair a smaller pool with a patio, an outdoor kitchen or a fire pit, and the Victory leaves space for that.
How the layout works
Liberty tags the Victory with swim-up seating and multiple entry and exit points. The floor runs from 3 ft 6 in to 5 ft, so most adults can stand throughout and older kids can still swim. At about 5,200 gallons it is light on chemicals and quick to heat. It is non-diving.
The Victory sits between our smallest pools and the popular 12 ft wide models. Against the 9 ft wide Enrichment 9x21, it is two feet wider with a sloped floor. Against the 12 by 26 Hero, it is smaller in both directions and $4,300 less in our packages.
Fitting a Victory on an Ohio lot
With our 4 ft deck, the Victory needs about 19 by 30 ft. That opens up yards where a 14 or 16 ft pool would not clear the setbacks. The Village of Silver Lake allows pools only in the rear yard and 10 ft from each lot line. Jackson Township also uses 10 ft. Hudson uses 15 ft and wants the pool behind the main mass of the house.
The barrier still has to go in. Most Ohio towns follow the International Swimming Pool and Spa Code, which calls for a barrier at least 48 in high with self-closing, self-latching gates. On a small lot we often run the fence along the patio edge so it frames the space instead of cutting through the yard.
The curved outline gives us flexibility. We can angle the Victory to catch the sun, fit it around a tree or keep it clear of a septic field.
What the $70,600 installed price includes
The same package as our largest pools: the Liberty shell and full installation, a Pentair variable-speed pump, a Pentair DE filter, Pentair MicroBrite color-changing LED lights, a 4 ft concrete wrap deck, a cleaning kit, starter chemicals and the electrical hook-up at the equipment. The 3D design and permits are handled by us.
After the site visit we price the fence, extra decking, spoils haul-off, dewatering if needed and the run from your panel to the pad. Those costs do not shrink much with the pool, so on a smaller project they make up a larger share of the total. It is worth planning for them from the first conversation, and financing is available through our lending partners.
Common upgrades on a Victory
A heater gets a lot done on a pool this size. A safety cover suits the freeform shape. Bubblers or a small waterfall add movement, and LED lighting makes a compact pool look good at night. Many Victory owners put the rest of the budget into patio and seating.
