Who the Finesse suits
Some families want width more than depth. A 16 ft wide pool gives room for a game of keep-away, a pile of floats and a couple of adults off to one side, all at once. The Finesse keeps its deepest point at 5 ft 4 in, so most teenagers and adults can stand anywhere in it. That makes it easy to supervise and easy to enjoy for guests who are not strong swimmers.
Liberty's own description leans toward the tropical: snorkeling, a barrier reef, the backyard as a getaway. We would put it more plainly. It is a relaxed shape for a household that uses the pool for play and cooling off, not training.
How the layout works
Liberty tags the Finesse with swim-up seating and multiple entry and exit points. The shallow end begins at 3 ft 9 in, a little deeper than the 3 ft 6 in you see on many models, which gives small kids less standing room but gives adults a more comfortable floor for sitting and wading.
Compare the gallons with its neighbors. The Finesse holds about 9,000 gallons. The Tradition, a 16 by 33 rectangle, holds about 15,000. Same width, nearly the same length, and 6,000 fewer gallons, because the Finesse is shallower and the curves trim the corners. Less water is less to treat and filter every week of the season.
Fitting a 16 ft freeform on an Ohio lot
With our 4 ft deck around it, the Finesse needs roughly 24 by 41 ft. Freeform pools are forgiving about orientation, and the curves can follow a patio edge or swing around a tree you want to keep. The setback still rules. Hudson keeps pools behind the main mass of the house and 15 ft from side and rear lot lines. Strongsville applies its 15 ft to the equipment too, so the pump and filter pad cannot sit in that strip.
A 16 ft wide shell also needs a clear route for the crane lift and a stable place for the crane to sit. On clay that has been soaked by a wet spring, we plan that part carefully. We check access, overhead lines and the ground during the site visit, then lay the pool out in 3D on your lot.
What the $89,200 installed price includes
The package includes the Liberty shell and full installation, a Pentair variable-speed pump, a Pentair DE filter, a pool heater, Pentair MicroBrite color-changing LED lights, a 4 ft concrete wrap deck, a cleaning kit, starter chemicals and the electrical hook-up at the equipment, with the 3D design and permits handled by us.
Priced after the site visit: the barrier fence, extra decking, spoils haul-off, dewatering if the hole takes on groundwater, and the power run to the pad. We list those separately so you can see which costs come from your yard and which come from the pool.
Common upgrades on a Finesse
A shallow pool warms faster than a deep one of the same size, so a heater gets good value here. Water features suit the freeform shape, especially a waterfall or bubblers near the seating. Because the Finesse is a gathering pool, many owners add patio for seating and shade, and LED lighting scenes for evenings.
