Liberty Heavenly Fiberglass Pools, 14x32 and 16x38

If the people in your house spend summer afternoons lying on floats or sitting on the steps, the Heavenly was designed for them. Liberty describes the Heavenly 14 as a spacious design featuring a large built-in tanning ledge, and the whole collection keeps that ledge front and center. Kids play on it, adults lounge on it, and chairs made for shallow water sit on it.

Liberty lists the Heavenly 14 Deluxe and Heavenly 16 as new models, so you will see fewer of them in local yards so far. The shape is a rectangle, which keeps the deck, fence and cover simple, and the ledge gives it the resort feel people usually associate with a freeform.

The Heavenly 14 is 13 ft 10 in by 32 ft, 3 ft 6 in to 6 ft deep, about 9,300 gallons. Liberty tags it with the tanning ledge, swim-up seating, multiple entry points and auto cover readiness.

The Heavenly 14 Deluxe has the same outline and depths and, per Liberty, the same 9,300 gallons, but adds a built-in spa and a champagne wall alongside the tanning ledge and seating. For $2,500 more in our packages, you get a spa inside the shell rather than a separate structure.

The Heavenly 16 is 15 ft 10 in by 38 ft, 3 ft 6 in to 6 ft 8 in deep, about 14,500 gallons, with a spacious tanning ledge, swim-up seating and several entry points. It is the one for a bigger family or a yard that hosts.

With our 4 ft deck, the Heavenly 14 needs about 22 by 40 ft and the Heavenly 16 about 24 by 46 ft. Green measures its 15 ft setback from the property line to the closest feature of the pool or accessory, so there the deck edge and equipment count, not only the water. Hudson also uses 15 ft and wants the pool behind the main mass of the house. We check how your town measures before the 3D design is final.

An integrated spa on the Deluxe changes the heating plan. You will want a heater sized for spa temperatures, and in a Northeast Ohio October, a hot spa next to a cooling pool is a very good reason to go outside.

Each Heavenly package includes the Liberty shell and full installation, a Pentair variable-speed pump, a Pentair DE filter, a pool heater, Pentair MicroBrite color-changing LED lights, a 4 ft concrete wrap deck, a cleaning kit, starter chemicals and the electrical hook-up at the equipment, with 3D design and permits handled by us.

After the site visit, we price the barrier fence, extra decking, spoils haul-off, dewatering and the power run from your panel. On the Deluxe, a pool heater comes with the package, and we will talk through sizing it for spa temperatures at the design stage.

Bubblers on the tanning ledge are the classic pairing, and an automatic cover suits the rectangular shape. Heaters come next. Many owners also run a wider patio along the ledge side so loungers in and out of the water face each other. Shade is worth planning too. A ledge in full afternoon sun is lovely in June and very hot in August, so a pergola beside the ledge, which we can build with the patio, earns its place.
